Call me crazy, but I just don’t see what all the hub bub is about when it comes to Miley Cyrus’ new photo “scandal.”

It’s no worse than Vanessa Hudgens’ nude picture that found its way onto the net last year. I can see why her age would be a factor and make some parents uncomfortable. But she’s not trashy. It was a very tasteful and classy picture. She wasn’t showing her boobs or touching herself. It’s not like it was a homemade photo or video that unknowingly found it’s way onto the net. The photo is no worse than wearing a backless dress to an award show. It was a monitored, planned and professional photo shoot.

I think it’s ridiculous that she’s being forced to apologize by Disney. Get over it. I understand that hundreds of young girls look up to Miley Cyrus, but hopefully you’ve been a good enough parent and your child knows not to photograph themselves nude on the net.

As for the way the Cyrus’ are handling it, well, I think it’s pretty stupid. Obviously the parents were there. They knew what the shoot was going to be like. How can Miley say she misinterpreted the shoot. You’re sitting with a blanket hiding your nibblets. What’s there to misinterpret? She probably didn’t expect the backlash, which is understandable and foolish. Still I think parents should move on and worry about Jamie Lynn being preggers or the lead paint in their children’s toys.

Next week some celebrity will do something else stupid that you can bitch and moan about and Miley will join the ranks of Vanessa, Paris and Miss Spears in their Internet scandal glory.

I have officially caught up with Lost last evening. So I haven’t finished the second or even started the third season, so what? I tuned in last night for the TWO hour finale with extra info. The text scrolling at the bottom of the screen was very helpful. I didn’t realize how utterly annoying the finale was though. Ben, is that his name? The guy with the crazy psycho eyes who leads the other. He bothers the crap out of me. And um, Charlie? Really? I’ll be watching the premier of season four this evening, but I’m not sure if I’ll make it through the whole thing. I already have so many questions.

Lost gives me anxiety and apparently, headaches. Last night while watching it I got a migraine. Not cool. I sure hope Jack had nothing to do with that. He’s a hunky piece of man meat Anyway, just wanted to share that.

I also watched Alvin and the Chipmunks movie. So cute. The last half is pretty, eh….craptastic. But the chipmunks are freaking adorable haha. I want a chipmunk. Please?

Rumor has it that Starz is turning “Crash” into a television series.

Is anybody else tired of the play-by-play Britney drama on every celebrity website? Perez is especially annoying this morning. I appreciate his desire to want to keep us informed, but enough is enough. Nobody cares about this train wreck. At least I don’t, I can’t really speak for the rest of the world. Once the busiest airport in the U.S., O’Hare now has a new title: World’s Most Flight Cancellations. Congrats. What’s even more devastating is that O’Hare ranked at number 32 (dead last) for on-time departures. Sad.

About 13,434 flights were canceled through the first 11 months of last year.

The world’s busiest airport? Hartsfielf-Jackson Atlanta. They only have 6,196 canceled flights. But in Chicago’s defense, there’s a huge difference in weather conditions. That’s not really a fair fight. Atlanta doesn’t battle snow and ice storms for 5-6 months out of the year. However, Chicago’s other airport Midway battles the same conditions as O’Hare but only had 1,172 flights canceled. I don’t understand that. Some argue that Midway has a smaller volume of flights…whatever helps you sleep better at night folks.

I thank Daniel Craig for turning me on to the Bond movies. And by “Bond movies” I mean Casino Royale. I don’t care too much about the ones he wasn’t in (That’s a lie, I do. I quite enjoyed Pierce Brosnan as J.B.)

The new Bond movie, originally titled Bond 22, now has a spankin’ new title: Quantum of Solace. How fun is that!? Makes it sound like you’re watching some type of documentary. Tell all your friends! They’ll think you’re intelligent! Rumor has it, the title was chosen from a story in the collection For Your Eyes Only by Bond creator Ian Fleming. Special eh?

Michael G. Wilson, or Michael Gee as I like to call him (wtf?) wanted to share this tidbit of info about the name with us: “We thought it was an intriguing title and referenced what happened to Bond and what is happening in the film.”

Update: Apparently a church plans on picketing Heath’s funeral because they don’t approve of his role in “Brokeback Mountain.” I hope these people aren’t serious. There is a flyer advertising the picket and I find this very disturbing, in particular this last line:

“Heath Ledger is now in hell, and has begun serving his eternal sentence there - beside which, nothing else about Heath Ledger is relevant or consequential.”

An autopsy was scheduled for today. I’ve heard a rumor that Heath was suffering from pneumonia at the time of death.
