Yes. This is exactly it. I notice this especially with my job – it has it’s extremely high ups, but when it’s bad it gets really, really bad.

I had one of those down days yesterday, I felt so depressed and down but when I woke up today the sun was shining and I could actually feel it shining on me. It really was a new day.

One or two gloomy days can be refreshing but when LA resembles Seattle for a week it no longer resembles a holiday. Unless you’re talking about “Working Naked Day” (which is coming up), then it seems like a holiday.
