bad news: Ohare’s arrivals are delayed
good news: it’s only Tuesday
bad news: going to snow again tomorrow
good news: no snow expected on Thursday
bad news: weatherMAN is not always right
good news: we will wait for you!
That’s an email I received from my aunt this morning. She’s been keeping me updated on Chicago’s weather and counting down the days until I come home (since I moved out here.) It feels good to know that my family is just as excited as I am.
Oh, and in case you were wondering, it’s finally Autumn in Los Angeles. This is a picture I took over the weekend. Apparently the trees DO change color…just four months after most states. It’s cool. I’m not judging you LA.
Okay… yes I am.
Tonight we’re having a Christmas party at work. I swear, if I didn’t own a calendar I’d have no idea it was December. Chicago is going to be a shock, but I cannot wait.

It’s really weird being home already for the holidays…I’m so used to traveling back for the holidays, I think that was part of my gearing up for christmas spirit. Now I don’t have that and am having the hardest time!

At least it’s kind of chilly here (LA) this year. It’s even weirder when it’s 85 on Christmas Eve. And have you been downtown to the ice skating rink in Pershing Square? It help one remember it’s December.
