Happy Tuesday! I hope this short work week is going smoothly for everyone.
Thanks for welcoming my guest blogger yesterday. You’ll probably see him popping up from time to time. His post made me think about our Mario Kart dates. Erini, Rachel, Pham… let’s make it happen!
Yesterday I learned that Chrissy from Chrissy Is Awesome (she is) opened her very first Etsy shop: Yippie Designs. I’m pretty sure she planned it this way since everyone will be in a shopping mood this week.

If you’re in need of a new calendar I highly recommend A Year In Yes. “Each month includes a gorgeous photo and an inspiring (but non-cheesy) quote. The date bit of the calendar includes fun ideas, ass-kicking quotes and hilariously real holidays. To the side of the dates there’s even space for a monthly list! February’s list is ‘People I’ve Kissed.’” The calendar is printed on recycled paper. LOVE it.
Yesterday I learned that my company hired the other Jenn as a Campus Catalyst. I’m excited to have her involved. She’s currently working on her first task (finding the other 14 catalysts) and she could use your help. I heard she’s going to sing you a song if you do.
Just in case you were wondering, I’m bringing back doodads and trinkets. I just thought you should be in the know.
Tis the season to be dry and itchy. Not anymore. I just read about a wonderful dry skin cure on Gals’ Guide. It’s so wonderful that I’m going to share it with you.
Don’t forget that the 20SB Bootlegger Awards are now open and in need of your votes! (I’m not above bribing) I mean… have fun and don’t forget to vote before December 11th!
I’m amazed by the amount of inspiration I receive from these three bloggers and they don’t even know it. The blogging world is a pretty crazy place some times. Just wanted to say thank you.
Last but not least, don’t forget that today is the LAST day you can enter to win the HP Pavilion dm3.
The contest will end at 11:59 p.m. PST. Be sure to get your entries in, tweet, blog, whatever! I’ll be announcing the winner this week so stay tuned…

AH! Thanks Jenn! I love that doodads and trinkets are coming back. Those seem like great holiday craft words.
Might I add you are awesome(ful) as well. Pham was supposed to invite me to your next one, which apparently didn’t happen. :-p
P.S. I really suck at MarioKart.

Don’t worry. We all suck at Mario Kart when @mominreallife is playing. We still have fun though! I’ll make sure to invite you. Maybe we’ll have some post-Thanksgiving racing.

I’ve put that calendar on my ” MUST BUY FOR MYSELF EVEN THOUGH CHRISTMAS SHOPPING IS ABOUT OTHER PEOPLE” list. (I’m also working on not using caps attack all the time. Also? Thanks for the shout out. It’s funny- today of all days was the day I needed to feel like what I said mattered. So thank you

I ALWAYS end up buying something for myself while Christmas shopping. I’m weak. Think about it this way: The calendar will help you remember everyone’s birthday so you can buy them awesome gifts.
Also, you should know that what you say matters, every day. Thank YOU!
