Definitely sounds way to creepy for me. A friend had a grown daughter who, after seeing it, wanted to sleep in her parent’s bed so after hearing that, I read online about what it was about. Sounds too freaky, my eyes would be closed the entire time!

Like you, I was kind of excited to see Paranormal Activity. I had seen the previews about how this was supposed to be one of the scariest movies to come out in forever, I saw the clips of the audience literally freaking out in their seats, and I was pretty hyped to be scared to death. So, I talked the husband into going to see it last weekend. Sadly, I have to say I was disappointed. The last 15-20 minutes of the movie were good, but I didn’t feel like it was worth the Ihour and fifteen minutes it took to get to that point. We walked out of the theatre saying that we should have gone to see Where the Wild Things Are. The moview just wasn’t worth all the hype to me.

I was the same way, I didn’t really want to see it because I thought the previews were so stupid. But I took a buddy of mine and went to it, and I didn’t think it was a waste of money either. I was scared shitless and had to sleep with a light on (big baby, I know!)!

Holy hell, I got scared just reading this. I don’t think I could handle it considering after I saw “The Ring,” I refused to look at a mirror for two weeks which I realize is rather pathetic. However, your summary has me totally intrigued. I may have to suck it up and go…

You know, I felt the same way, and I hate that it’s getting bad reviews. I felt like people just couldn’t immerse themselves in real horror, and were looking for something more Hollywood, you know?

I watched a bootlegged version of the movie (just last night actually!), and the ending is different than the one in theaters. Still scary, though.

The scariest for me was when the bed sheets blew up around Katie’s legs!!!!!

I wrote a review of this a few days ago!! I would so watch this movie again, but with someone who HADN’T seen it before. I was more interested in people’s reactions to the movie than the movie itself. That being said, it did manage to freak me out a LITTLE bit, but not enough to keep me up at night. The ending gave me a head-to-toe shiver, which I thought was pretty cool, haha, because I’ve never watched a movie that was able to actually give me chills, but yeah… I just thought it was okay, though, I got bored in some spots and it felt longer than it actually was. I wonder if I can convince my brother to watch it. He refuses to see it…
