How I Spent My Saturday With 60 Women

by freeandflawed on October 6, 2009

On Saturday I spent my day with a conference room full of amazing women (and a few guys!) at the Gals’ Guide Summit.I spent the first half of the day running around behind the scenes, popping in and out of the panels every once in a while, but I was able to sit in on the last couple. I had a great time and met some truly inspiring people. It was especially nice to meet some of the people I follow on Twitter in person. The meetings were long past due!

One thing that really excited me was the quality of the panels and sponsors. Blagica and the Gals’ Guide team worked really hard to throw this event together and I think they did an incredible job.

A few of the treats:

Our sponsors made sure we didn’t go hungry during our breaks.

Sugar Bliss … YUM!

I absolutely LOVE the Happeez clip – it sticks to mirrors, stainless steel & fridges! I have an addiction to Dove products so the deodorant is a welcomed item, too. Oh! And I just found out that GrubHub delivers in LA now! Hooray!

If you haven’t read my recap on Gals’ Guide, check it out. I’ll be reviewing a couple of the items in the next couple of weeks so stay tuned!

I’m lucky that I live in a city where so many people network and get together for random dinners, drinks and Ikea trips :)

That looks like a Ferrero Rocher box. OMG you got a whole box??? Or was that evenly distributed?

I think there’s a global conspiracy to slowly turn the bloggers and social media gurus of the world diabetic.
