Smile for the Camera!

Greetings blogosphere! This is Phampants. Awesome face asked me to guest post while she’s on her exotic vacation in California.  So without any further adieu, I’d give you some of Pham’s pondering…pantsless style!  (No seriously, I’m not wearing any pants right now.)

Whether you’re driving or walking down the street, you can’t deny that they are now everywhere.  Traffic cameras, street cameras and freaking big brother cameras.  They’re on the street light at the corner, attached to your building and even in your house (I’m watching you) Target!  Every where you turn, you’ll find another one popping up.  It’s almost impossible to avoid them anymore.

Now if you’ve ever been to the UK, you know that these cameras are all over the place, moving and watching you walk (with your short skirt and long jacket).  This is the freaking United States of America.  What ever happened to our right of privacy? I mean, I understand that we live in the world of fear after 9/11.  But seriously, the last thing I want is for some camera to be taking a picture of me when I’m not at my best; especially, when I’m driving.

So lately, I started to take a different approach.  I began being proactive when I see these cameras.  Heck, if I’m going to get my picture taken, it better be good.  I want the person who reviews the photo be like, “Oh snap, this guy got it going on!”

Heck, I have no shame whatsoever about rocking out when I’m in my car:

And if they’re going to catch me eating in my car, I’m going to look sophisticated:

But then again, I can’t help it if I want to mess around with these cameras:

Though in the end, only one photo will matter…
