Beware of Elephants

by freeandflawed on June 19, 2009

I wasn’t going to blog today (the post I’m working on needs time…), but something horrible has been brought to my attention.

It’s eff’in humid. Last week I was wearing a scarf. In June. Today that scarf would stick to me like a piece of saran wrap. The warm weather is welcome, but it’d be all sorts of awesome if it weren’t so humid.

Humidity + asthma = panicked searches for inhalers.

Speaking of inhalers, has anyone seen mine? I had it a few nights ago. I’ve used it maybe twice in the 10 years I’ve had asthma, but now I want it. The air in my apartment is heavier than an elephant. Have you tried to inhale an elephant?!

Windows are open, fans are blowing, all that’s missing is my Mr. Puff Puff (What? You’ve got a better name?)

I think sometimes I just like to hear myself talk – in this case, see myself write(?)

I hear that.. Texas heat and humidity is almost unbearable… and it’s only June. Granted, it’s been pretty much miserable since May, but still. Ugh. I miss spring and I look forward to fall.
