Right now I’m reading the latest Wired magazine and a book called “Tell Me Where It Hurts” I can’t remember the author’s name but its about a day in the life of an emergency room vet. Makes me glad my kiddos are so healthy!

Oooo, Cormac McCarthy grew up in Knoxville! I'm more of a fan of Suttree, but that may be because it's set in Knoxville. I just finished Flannery O'Conner's 'A Good Man is Hard to Find,' a collection of short stories. I would definitely recommend it. I love the Stephanie Plum series and am awaiting her newest one, which I think is 15? They're always good fun. The Road is brilliant. Honestly, one of the best books I have ever read. I found it hard to get into at first, because, as you say, it's not written in a conventional style, but it soon sucked me in. I'm reading "The Girl with the Dragon Tattoo" by Steig Larsson. It took 170 pages and two months to get into it, but now I've finally reached the I CAN'T PUT IT DOWN stage. I've read The Road. Janet Evanovich is one of my new favorite authors (along with Nicholas Sparks and Jodi Picoult…and, of course, Stephenie Meyer ) and I absolutely LOVE the Stephanie Plum series, though I need to start from the beginning.

I picked up Eleven on Top from school and laughed hysterically all the way through. I’m so rooting for Morelli – he sounds yuh-mie!

my mom recommended the stephanie plum books to me and i sort of love them. i’m starting book 7 this weekend! i love that they’re so easy to get through and you can read them in between other books too. woo reading!
