No?! Well what’s stopping you? (Seriously, I’d like to know!)
3 Reasons Why You Should Be Using Guidespot:
1. Some of our favorite bloggers are writing there (and you’re missing it!)
Didn’t you read about Ben’s success? I was even emailed about his awesomeness!
Did you know that Susie , Chelsea, and Jessica write for it? (Don’t forget me!)
2. It’s a great way to meet new writers.
Not only are you introduced to more writers who may or may not have a blog, but you can introduce them to your blog! Thus, increasing YOUR readership.
You might not have noticed, but blogging is all about the community and relationships you develop. Many of us share readers so by bringing new folks into your community, you’re helping the bigger community grow.
I’ve met some really awesome people, like Ethan, who is the co-founder of GiveForward.org. GiveForward gives people free personal fundraising pages to raise money for ANY cause or charity that is important to them.
Basically, you can create a fundraiser page and then send the link to your friends and family and they can donate online. You can add videos, pictures, links to your blog. etc to your fundraiser page.
3. You’re missing out on hilarious content!
I See Porn…Everywhere by MattfriedinNY.
LOL GSpot Guides 2008. This sums up all of the funnies found on Guidespot. Know of one that didn’t make the list? Sign-up and add that person’s guide.
Guide to being a Gold Digger by JessicaJoy.
There are helpful guides such as:
The Girl’s Guide to being a Fantasy Girlfriend by Jessica H.
Girls’ Guide to Fantasy Football – be sure to add your two cents!
And let’s not forget El Guapo’s guide to Surviving the Financial Crisis
Signing up is free and easy. Visit Guidespot and create a username and password. Once you’re set, start exploring! Check out guides and community guides of your friends and be sure to write some of your own. Guidespot offers a free widget that you can add to your blog to remind your readers to check out your GSpot content.
In case the three reasons above weren’t enough, I’ll offer you a little incentive. If you sign up, send me your first guide and I will send you a gift card to iTunes, Target or Amazon – your choice! Because I’m not made of money only the first three people who share their content will receive the gift cards. (Chelsea, Susie, Jessica and Ben, I’m sorry, but it wouldn’t be fair to include you.)
So what are you waiting for? Go. Write!!
P.S. I don’t get $$ if you sign up. I think the site and the writers are great and want more of you to see it!

Hah, now since I wasn’t listed as a current Guidespotter, do I get a card? ;o)
I haven’t thought of anything else to guide people on yet, but my boss actually started using my WordPress guides to do his new page! Guidespot makes you look smart!
(And I think it’s funny that Guidespot has a widget to tell your readers to check out your “GSpot content.” I’m so sick.)
