Did you know that the Universe leaves me notes every morning? I wake up and there it is. Even if I wake up before my alarm, the note is there waiting for me. I save the ones that make me think or smile. A lot of people have a box where they keep some keepsake of sorts. If I had a box, it’d be full of these notes.
You do realize, J, don’t you, that there have been others – in lifetimes, millenniums, and civilizations past – who have been to some of the same “places” you’ve been to? Yet, they got so scared they lost control, turned away, or flat out quit.
Yep, and they surround you now in the unseen. Your greatest admirers.

It seems like the Universe knows exactly what I’m going through and what I need to see. Sure it doesn’t point out the answers or even give big hints. But the subtlety in its delivery hides the bigger picture of its message.
What can you now do,

What would I do without these notes? How many blog posts wouldn’t have been written? How many decisions wouldn’t be made? How many times would I have second-guessed myself? Now I hate to say that I’d base my life on these notes. I don’t believe in horoscopes and all of that tomfoolery. But I do like the tiny reminders to trust my instincts. They reassure me that the path I’m on is exactly that: a path. I can veer from it in any direction that I’d like and I’d be on another one.
These notes are a great way to pull me out of the jumbled mess of thoughts in my head and remind me of what’s important. It makes decision-making easier. It’s like an imaginary hug from an invisible supporter.
This makes me sound certifiably crazy doesn’t it? What do you do to reassure yourself that you’re on the right path?

I don’t think this makes you sound crazy.
Personally, I don’t really have much that reassures me about my current path, which is probably why I’m so indecisive about what my next step should be. And also why I am now going to receive notes from the universe as well.

You are so not certfiably insane…
I usually look to my dreams and repeated number sequences to tell me if I am on the right path in life. It does help me.

Oh my gosh – I love that idea.
One of my close friends has a thing like this that she has done since she was a little girls, where she sits down in front of a mirror and says 5 nice things about herself. I thought it was funny when she told me, but when we started talking about it she said that most people she told who balked at it couldn’t think of 5 nice things to say to themselves. This is a nice little boost like that.
And just as an aside, the universe should have it’s PR person get this out there – it’s great for it’s image!

Actually, I just reassure myself that everything works out in the end and look to all the times in my life that’s proven to be true.
