I’m 30, and I had LASIK 10 years ago. I wasn’t allowed to drive w/o glasses, and my frames were bottle-cap thick, so I wore contacts, which were a giant pain. I still see great! It really changed my life from the moment I realized I could see while walking to the lobby after my procedure. Do it!

I'm definitely curious about it. Sometimes I just get tired of wearing glasses every day and I'm too lazy to wear contacts. I've had PRK which is also a vision corretive surgery. My recovery time SUCKED, but now I no longer need glasses or have to cart around contact solution or worry about getting into the ocean or a pool and fear losing my contact lenses. I've had glasses since I was 5-ish. I'm basically blind without them, so sometimes I think I'd love to have Lasik so I could see when I go swimming or hey, take a shower, but then I remember that I don't like the way I look without them. I love your glasses! I too, wear glasses (well, most of the time I wear contacts!) Without them I'm more than 50% legally blind! Scary...I might eventually go for Lasik but my doctor suggested sticking with contacts as long as my eyes will tolerate! mariss last blog post..Stuffed

I love my glasses way too much to get it done... I can't even stand to touch my eyes to put in contacts. Don't let your love of glasses hold you back though. If you do decide to do it, you can always buy glasses with non-prescription lenses just for the look (I read that's what Drew Carey did). Andreas last blog post..Oh, drear
