20SB Meet-up: Final Poll | Free and Flawed

This poll will determine if the meet-up will be held in Boston or Chicago. Unfortunately, I have removed New York from the list. After some research, we found that the cost (especially flights) would be too expensive. I apologize to any bloggers in NY who were rooting for their city.

Before you vote: Keep in mind that the meet-up is tentatively planned for June 2009 so weather should not be an issue.

The poll will be closing on Thursday, September 11th. That should give you and the rest of the bloggers more than enough time to pick the city you prefer. After 5 p.m. on Sept. 11 I will not accept any more votes. If you didn’t vote, I’ll assume that you didn’t care which city was chosen. There will be no votes taken by email, Twitter, or comment on this post. You must use the poll.

Done. Very excited

I’m biased and voted Chicago. But, there’s also good reason. It’s the center of our fine nation. And in my humble opinion, the center of the universe. Easy to get to from all coasts. Yay for the meet-up.

oh june, the month of weddings. what happened to late spring?

oh well, ill roll the dice and hopefully it’ll be a weekend i can attend!

Done! It turns out a mid-June flight from the west coast to Boston is slightly cheaper than one to Chicago, strangely enough.

I voted!! I would love to choose Chicago but Boston is so much cheaper from NY. Flights to chicago are also very expensive, at least from NY.

I voted Chicago. After all that whining. But, it is June, and I do have peeps in Chicago. Cute peeps. Hmm… do we have to wait till June?

Damn, I was rooting for NYC. Eh, maybe I can make it to the second one if this becomes an annual event.

i’m still pulling for fall so we can all get past the insanity of summertime and wedding season…buttttttttt if its june, i’ll do my best to be able to make it.

Got my fingers crossed for Chicago. It’s about a 3 hours DRIVE for me. No planes! Yay!

Is that Boston, Nunavut, Canada on the map? If you convene in Nunavut I’m coming for sure.

I actually would have loved to meet everyone, but with a west coast option out, flying east is just too expensive
