My day consisted of falling asleep on the beach, frozen sangria, and video games. (Notice I did not mention any sun burn!) I love coming home with a smile on my face and “Amber” by 311 stuck in my head. I’m not sure why that song specifically, it just reminds me of summer.

I really hate that summer is coming to an end. That means I won’t have many more days like this.

Came here from Dan’s blog. If you want summer, come to Australia, where I live. Today is our first day of spring.

I’m not kidding.

(But at the moment, I’m travelling in the Yukon!!)

What a coincidence indeed. I like 311.

I know the feeling! I spent a good part of yesterday floating in our pool. And we’ll have to close it soon.

But, we’re going apple picking today. That takes the sting out of fall a bit!

I knew there was a reason I loved you so much! I <3 311, so much, in fact, that I saw them in NOLA on 3/11 this year. They are quintessential summer.

I spent the last two days laying in the sand, indulging in new library books, and floating in the ocean.

It was a picture perfect weekend in the Northeast and I am so, so upset that such moments are slowly dwindling…

I love 311 and I always think of summer when I hear that song, too. I think because they played it on the radio a bunch one year, but I still love it.

I also hate that summer is coming to an end. But with such weird weather we’ve been having, I wouldn’t be surprised if it stayed hot for another couple months

I hate summer coming to an end, too, but that day sounds like it’ll make summer last a little longer.
