Itchy Itch

My eyes itch.
\

\
It’s been several weeks since I visited Chi-Town and got to meet Jenn and my eyes have been itching since then.
\

\
Someone intelligent would take this opportunity to visit a doctor. Perhaps I’m suffering from an allergic reaction. Maybe I’ve rubbed them so raw that I keep shoving dirt in them. Frankly, I could have open sores and I wouldn’t even know it!
\

\
Am I going to a doctor?
\

\
Of course not.
\

\
Do I have health insurance?
\

\
Absolutely.
\

\
Does this make me intensely stupid?
\

\
Duh.
\

\
I’d like to wear some mascara here and there. Eyeliner and I normally get along quite well too. Yet, these days I can’t put ANY of that on. To be honest, I’m not one to wear a whole lot of make up all the time anyway. If the occasion calls for it, I’ll go all out. But in general I just don’t bother.
\

\
Yet, now that I can’t use any eye make up, I feel completely frustrated. I should be able to wear what I want and when I want! Dangit!
\

\
I suppose I should seriously get my butt in gear and see the doc, but my name is Deutlich and I am stubborn!

There is no excuse for not going to the doctor!
\
(Take advantage of having health insurance – you know how many people don’t?) Make an appointment ASAP. Don’t make me come over there!

I’m gonna cross my arms over my chest and nod along with Jenn’s mom. You HAVE health insurance… no taking it for granted allowed, lady. Besides, anything that messes around with your gorgeous face is a damn shame.

Get it checked out. Your mascara says so.

You crack me up.
\

\
1) buy new mascara and eyeliner. maybe try a new brand once things clear up. You could be allergic
\
2) stop scratching your effing eyes! I see you doing it right now. STOP IT.
\
3) Go to the doctor. lol

the very last thing you want to do is visit a Doctor!

You know, I have that same problem with makeup sometimes. My allergies make it so difficult and uncomfortable to wear the stuff.

Doctors don’t know what the hell they’re talking about anyway, so you’re doing the right thing.

i do the same exact thing. i have insurance, but i just don’t go. i’m not sure why, though. i think i’m lazy. scratch that, i AM lazy. the thought of switching my schedule around so i can visit a doctor, sit in the waiting room for 14.3 hours, pay a $20 co-pay for him/her to scribble on a piece of paper, then wait some more at the pharmacy … i don’t know. i think i’d rather go to work
