- I have a good reason to believe that I may be allergic to mosquito bites. I got bit on my big toe and now it is giant. It’s swollen and red. I can’t feel it and I’m pretty sure I could kill someone with it.
\
\
- Despite yesterday’s bad news, my day ended well. I have to admit that I’m very happy.
\
\
- That ^ terrifies me.
\
\
- Why do guys refer to other guys as “brother” when they’re getting ready to fight? I blame Hulk Hogan for this.
\
\
- I really think PJ pants should fall into the “allowed attire” category on my company’s proper work clothes list.
\

\
\
- I can’t wait for Saturday.
\
\
- I’m pretty sure I ate a little bit of death. My protein bar tasted like it. Do you know what this means? I’m SO getting an Egg McMuffin for breakfast! Take that Mr. No Neck ![]()
\
\
- Yep…toe is definitely growing right now.
\
\
- Don’t tell my cats, but I’m in love with another cat. He’s big and easily startled, but oh so adorable.
\
\
- My toe burns
Yeah, I don’t think this is normal.

mosquite bites are the worst! And it doesn’t help the mosquitos are the size of birds where I live!!! I hope your toe gets better

Sounds like it wasn’t so much a mosquito as it was a rabid bat that bit you!

I blame Hulk Hogan for a lot of things. Like spandex, peroxide, steroids, world hunger, rising oil costs…

Maybe a quick visit to the doctor? Maybe a shot of cortisone? I don’t know… I’m not an MD or anything. But my mom is a nurse! That makes me qualified to prescribe injections, right?

oh my word – I HATE mosquitoes! HATE!

I swell up like a balloon whenever I have a mosquito bite, so I know how you feel. I always use calomine lotion to soothe it, but if it’s still swelling today, you should probably go see a doc. Better safe than sorry.

What’s on Saturday that you’re looking forward to?

Yikes on the mosquito bite! We used to use tiger balm on them when we were little and that helped a bit.
\

I’m glad the day ended well at least!.

Any guy that refers to any other guy as “bro” at any point in there life (even their own brother)..ladies, here’s some advice…
\
\
STAY. AWAY.
\
\
No, they don’t care about you, they aren’t being nice, they are trying to get in your pants, and, if you let them, they won’t be very good…
\
\
That is all…

I blame most of the problems in America on Hulk Hogan. I even blame him for your toe burning…

Dear me, you are in the wars. I’m with LizSara, a witch doctor is the only way forward. Don’t pay him until it’s cured though. Otherwise he’ll take your money and do voodoo on you (or something)
\
\
Either that or just get some anti-hestimine (sp?)

Are you sure that bite was from a mosquito?
\
\
also, I blame hulk hogan for the whole brother thing too.

I had the same thing happen when I got bit by a mosquito on my forehead, and again on my index finger knuckle! They both got all red and swollen and seriously hurt.
\
\
Both went away after what seemed FOREVER, but I swear I would have thought they were spider bites had I not smacked the hell out of the offending mosquitos.

i called people out on LOLing too much. that card rocks.
\

i ain’t yo brother, brother.

I’m allergic to mosquito bites. Mine swell up SO BIG and get SO RED. And they itch like the DICKENS! (Do people still say that? I think I just sounded like my grandma….)
\
\
And for real, your “brother”-fighting comment DID make me lol!

a growing mosquito bite? yikes. that has definitely happened to me before and it is just not cool. i recommend icing it or just not touching it all and hopefully it will go down.

mmm pajama pants. i’ll be wearing those all day tomorrow when i work from home
Reply
PJ pants and yoga pants should definately be allowed. I’ll sign the petition form around the office cooler.

Hmm, yeah the whole toe thing doesn’t sound too normal. Maybe you got bit by something else? I had a massive spider bite the other day. That probably doesn’t help much, does it? I suck.
\
And a new cat? Ooh.. I want a cat so bad, wish I wasn’t allergic!
Reply
Not to sound all nerdy, but anyone (which is probably most people) who gets a red bump when they get bit by a misquito is allergic. The bump IS the allergic reaction, no matter how large or small the bump is. The size of the bump would determine the severity of the allergy. Just sayin’.

Sorry for the late reply (been in the hospital with my partner so no computer). I’ve heard Vitamin B is a good natural repellent, but I quick search on the internet proved that one wrong, apparently. I’d definitely go to the doctor and see what’s up.
