Earlier this afternoon I texted her:

Me: Wanna grab dinner at As? I’ll treat! Just feel like going out.

Mom: Bad day - or pancake craving

She knows me well.

I have a lot on my mind today. I’m feeling bogged down by relationship poo-poo, school mucky-muck and an exhausting week.

But it’s mostly for the pancakes

Well pancakes will certainly lighten your mood from your training session from earlier! And pancakes can just about fix anything.
