Currently Thinking…

by freeandflawed on May 27, 2008

If I Never See Your Face Again by Maroon 5 and Rihanna makes me want to lick the radio.
\

\
Yeeeaaaah….not really happy about this sunburn anymore.
\

\
Drinking orange juice with pulp makes me feel like I’m drinking orange juice with sperm. Ew.
\

\
I smell like burning.
\

\
I’m obviously red. Why do people ask if I got too much sun? No, I got a little marker happy this weekend and decided to color my shoulders red.
\

\
Why is “Lollipop” by Lil Wayne playing on our office radio? It doesn’t seem very appropriate.
\

\
Okay seriously. Stop telling me to wear sunscreen. You’re not my mom and I did. I used it often. I’m just lucky enough to have skin that defies sunscreen and burns anyway.
\

\
::licks radio::
\

\
Is anyone else sick of “Bleeding Love?” It’s on way too much. I think the radio is mocking me and my relationship mucky-muck.
\

\
It would be nice to spend one summer without having ridiculous tan lines.
\

\

\
I really like this picture haha!
\

\
Ask me where Djibouti is! Do it! (In my pants! – thank you Jen Lancaster)

\

\

\

\
And I think you should start telling people you went marker happy this weekend, and that’s why you’re red. See what they say then. ;)

Djibouti is in Djibouti! I remember that from a Coke (or maybe it was Dr. Pepper) commercial.
\

\
And I really just laughed-out-loud when you said orange juice with pulp makes you think you’re drinking orange juice with sperm. HA!

And I just started reading “Bitter is the New Black” since every blog I read has discussed her in the last two weeks. I apparently need to get caught up.

I pretty much agree with this entire post! I’m sunburned, I want to lick the radio, no one should have anything to do with lollipops at work, I hate it when people make stupid comments about my sunburn, and I’m also sick of Bleeding Love. :)

i’m so out of the loop! i don’t know this bleeding love song! i’ll go check it out after this so i can feel appropriately incensed if it comes on the radio.
\

\
sorry about the burn. i get both (the burns, and then the comments about how I Look Like I Got Some Sun!) as well. both are irritating.

I LOVE my first sunburn of the year, and I generally do wear sunscreen despite it. I’m really pale. People don’t understand though that when you’re this pale straight from autumn to spring a little color is welcomed! Even if it means pain for two whole weeks! I don’t let myself burn all through summer (don’t want the cancer) but a couple red days are a-ok with me.
\

\
Thanks for the grad congrats! oh & I agree about pulp… don’t like chunky stuff in my juice.

That Maroon 5 song is awesome, didn’t know they’d done a duet with Rihanna but just checked it out there. Lucky Rihanna getting to feel up Adam Levine, mmmm. I’m not really getting sunburnt anymore since I’ve been on two holidays abroad in the past couple of months and already been burnt more than my fair share. Think my skin is used to it now, thank god!

My skin did the whole defying sunscreen thing a few weeks ago, and I’m still paying for it. I hope yours feels better sooner. :/
\

\
Also, yuck on the OJ thought. I’m now going to think about that whenever I drink OJ.

I hate Bleeding Love. To the point of I hear that (or her new fracking song) one more time, I’ll stab my eardrums out with a pencil.
