Do you know what hits the big screen in 24 days? Sex and the City! Are you as excited as I am? Have you compared your relationship poo-poo to that of Carrie, Miranda, Charlotte or Samantha yet? How about Big…have you developed a crush on him yet? Have you busted out the cosmos for an early celebration of this awesome event? Have you figured out who you’re going with to see it? No?! For shame!

I realize it’s a bit early for planning…wait what? It’s NEVER too early for planning! If you don’t already have plans, I know of a couple bloggers (myself, Jamie and Jessica) who are tres excited to go see it. We’d be delighted if you joined us.

First though, we need to decide if we want to see it opening night (May 30) or Saturday (May 31st) during the day. Personally I’m a huge fan of seeing it opening night, mostly for the excitement and preventing hearing any spoilers between then and Saturday. But I know that tickets and seats might be hard to come by. We can always try though! That’s what Fandango is for

Also! As if seeing a sexy movie with us isn’t awesome enough, there will be drinks or cupcakes afterwards - depending if we go Friday night or Saturday afternoon. This doesn’t affect the cupcake crawl, which is tentatively planned for the first weekend in June. Can you handle us two weeks in a row?!

I want to go! I want to go!! Let’s go opening night, I can’t wait an extra day. Can we dress up in character? You know someone can wear a power suit like Miranda, someone can wear Charlotte’s pearls. And we can all wear (fake) Manolo’s and carry (fake) Birkin’s. Personally, I want to go as Samantha circa season six, and wear the wig she wore to the premiere of Smith’s movie. *hug*

No, I’ve always had a crush on Aidan! He was DEFINITELY the best guy, but Carrie has this S&M thing (like you were talking about the other day) where she can’t let herself have the best. Anywho, I’m FORSURE going to see it. I can’t wait!

If I wasn’t going to the midnight showing, I’d totally be there. But you know, I’m obsessed and need to see it the minute it comes out. Because I’m amazingly awesome. Regardless, cupcake crawl, I’m so down. Deeeetails, please! , and I better get to reading all those other Chicago blogs to prep myself on who I’ll be meeting!

Ironically enough, I’ll be in NYC opening weekend. Though, I wonder if SATC opens there earlier than it does the rest of the country. Hmmmm…

If it doesn’t interfere with a performance, I’d love to come! If you go Friday night, I’d only be able to go if it was pretty late (after the show). Saturday, I’d only be able to go during the day if we don’t have a matinee…
