There’s a better post brewing inside of me right now. I just can’t find the words, energy or desire to write it just yet. So instead, you get a bunch of random crap:
\
\
- May I present the Nubrella.
This redesigned umbrella shields you from rain, snow, falling babies and bird poop. But the important question is are you willing to look like an idiot while wearing it? What will shield you from all of the staring eyes, pointing fingers and laughter? That’s right, nothing.
\
\
- Baby steps: Apple has lowered the price of the 1GB iPod shuffle from $79 to $49. A 2GB model will be available later this month. When is the iPhone’s price tag going to see a makeover?
\
\
- I love Reflexology. I’ve studied it. I’ve practiced it. I’ve even received it (and loved every minute!) I recommend it often to people who don’t mind having their feet touched. I’m a bit turned off by the idea of Fish Reflexology. I can see how the water might encourage a more relaxed state, but the fish? They’re not just there for show.
The fish, Turkish spa fish (wtf?), swim up and gently nibble on your feet removing the dead skin and leaving you with healthy skin. Um…no thanks? I’ll stick to pumice stones. Keep your fish lips away from me.
\
\
- Ridiculous Want of the Day: Flexible Hangers. I have an issue with hangers that I’m sure I’ve mentioned before. I’m often teased about it as well. I like having my hangers match. I prefer the same style and color. I am opening up to multiple colors though. But these flexible little buggers, ugh, I love them. I don’t know how often I find a blouse on the floor of my closet because the hanger lacked a little groove for the strap to fit into. Thank you funky hanger inventors, thank you!
\
\
- Trackpad Skins – Because laptop sleeves, skins and cases just aren’t enough! (Some of these are actually pretty cute!)
\
\
- Verizon, AT&T, T-Mobile and Sprint have all introduced unlimited voice packages over the last few days. For $100 a month I can talk all I want. That would be fantastic if I wanted to spend $100 on a phone bill every month. Does that even include texts, data packages and pictures? I can spend $80 and get enough daytime minutes to talk to those without Verizon and cover all my texts, Internet surfing and photos. I like cell phones. I’m addicted to mine. But lately phone companies are doing very little to entice me. Why should I choose your company? Just having a cool phone doesn’t mean I’m going to cancel my current contract. Start getting better deals! I need more options, more plans and for the love of jeebus, STOP extending my contract every time I make some type of change to my plan. Eff’in phone companies. Here’s a breakdown of the unlimited plans.
\

\
- Lunar Eclipse. When? Tonight – 9pm if you’re in the Chicago area. Where? In the sky. No you do not need sunglasses (I heard someone ask that on the radio today!) How long? About 55 minutes.
\
\
- Are you stressed? I’m feeling particularly stressed. If you need a laugh, head over to Pass The Chalk for a fun name game guaranteed to make the 5-year-old inside of you giggle.
\
\
- ABC has announced the dates its shows will begin airing NEW episodes. Hurray!
\
\
- Random Question: What will you be watching on TV tonight?

Haha, I love how random you are.

That umbrella business is so freaking weird, weird I say.
\
\
And I wish I could see the lunar eclipse tonight, damn clouds and rain.
\

I’ll be flipping between Idol and ANTM.
\
\
I’m really excited they lowered the price on the shuffle. I have an older 512mb that sucks… so maybe i’ll get a new one. i mean after all it’s only 50 bucks. that sound so much better than 80.

Okay, where DO you find this stuff? Honestly!
\
\
The umbrella, no way in hell. I have a huge one with colorful polka dots on it I got at Walmart. It keeps me safe from anything that falls from the sky–except babies maybe.
\
\
The fish remind me of, I think it’s slugs, that suck your blood during medical procedures–or something like that. Ew!
\
\
The hangers are cool but they are $10 each–wth?!
\
\
I have a cell phone through T-Mobile and I can get it for $200 but a newbie will get it for like $100 or so under a new contract. Again, excuse me?!
\
\
I hope to see the lunar eclipse also. If the clouds that are to bring snow don’t roll in too early.
\
\
As for what I’m watching—probably Cashmere Mafia or Top Model. Everyone talks about Project Runway. Never seen it. Don’t have cable

Wait, an umbrella that shields you from falling babies?!? Does it shield you from medical bills of falling babies, too? If so, I may just have to sign right up!

I love it when you do shopping posts like this. As much as I want the red BlackBerry Curve, I won’t switch to AT&T.
\

I also LOVE reflexology! For Christmas one year I gave everyone a bottle of lotion with a reflexology chart wrapped around it. The fish? I might try it, mine nibble my fingers enough when I change water for move their plants around.

This was a great post. Especially because, Sweets got me a reflexology appointment as a Valentine’s Day gift (yeah, he’s the best). And I have no problem with people touching my feet – I’m actually really excited. I’ll have to report back in a few weeks when I cash in the gift!

I STILL haven’t seen Sicko. When it came out, I didn’t have health insurance. I do now, but I’m not happy with it. I know the movie will frustrate the crap out of me.
