Is anybody else secretly addicted to Dancing With The Stars? It’s a pretty sneaky show. One minute you’re cursing out Tom Bergeron for being a tool the next you’re sneaking downstairs to ask your grandparent’s “who won?”

I’m a closet DWTS addict. I can’t sit through the entire results show. Seriously, who needs a one-hour results show? Tell the people who’s getting kicked off, dance, go home. That’s it. See? I haven’t completely lost my mind then. I have some self control.

Anyway, if you’re at all interested in who will be dancing this season, the list was announced last night. Now I found this on Perez so if it’s at all wrong, don’t blame the messenger.

To be quite honest, I’m a bit disappointed. I’m tired of seeing has-beens or folks that were considered “stars” 10-20 years ago. It’d be more interesting to watch some of the people I read about in my guilty pleasure celebrity gossip mags. I’d rather see Brangelina prance around than Shannon Elizabeth. Hell, I’ll even settle for Jodie Sweetin.

Lindsay Lohan thinking she could recreate Marilyn Monroe’s last, nude, photo shoot. Um…. no. I’m sorry, but I don’t find her face or body particularly flattering. I haven’t seen Marilyn’s photos, but I just don’t see why she felt the need to recreate them. “Hey I’m a drunk! Hey I went to rehab. What now? Hm..guess I’ll get naked for money…” I don’t get it. Sorry.

I haven’t watched Dancing with the Stars in the past, but I may have to reconsider for one reason: Steve Guttenberg. Anything with Sergeant Mahoney (Police Academy) in it is pure gold in my book.

by posing nude? WTF? There is something really wrong with her if she thinks that posing nude is somehow getting your life back under control.. as a matter of fact, its the LEAST likely way to get your life back under control.. I mean really, your naked body burned into every 10-22 and 45-80 year old males brain (assuming some married men wouldnt admit to looking at them) is really going to get you a lot more control, now isn’t it? isn’t it?

Oh goodness, I know exactly how you feel about the Lindsay Lohan thing. I was outraged. Talk about disgracing that woman’s memory. She’s doing nude photos because she messed up her life when she tried being a crack whore. Sadly for her, that didn’t work out either.

so i am not really into DWTS (although my whole family is), but i always wind up watching it because - surprise! - there is nothing else on tv.

as for LL, i used to really like her and would have liked this whole Marilyn thing four years ago (well, not sure she was legal but you get my point).

My boyfriend’s mom is obsessed with DWTS. She used all of our cell phones (6 cells in the house at the time) and the house phone to vote when Mario Lopez was on haha.

Oh Lohan. She’s ridiculous. She needs to be Lindsay Lohan, not try to be Marilyn. We all no being LL isn’t too great, but leave Marilyn alone!

One of my roommates is totally obsessed with DWTS…like, really obsessed. I refuse to watch the results show (for all the reasons you listed) but I’m more than happy to watch the actual dancing if nothing else is on.
