It is a great opportunity. Really his timing was all that bad. I don’t care that it was V-day and he told me. I suppose it’s just the overall news. My relationship wouldn’t last if he moved.

I know it’s a great opportunity. I feel selfish even asking him to stay. But I can’t help but feel like crap about it. It’s over if he goes…and that makes the last two years a waste. I stayed in it because I thought it was going somewhere…but Iceland?

Just saw this. Sucks. I want you to be able to GO to Iceland to at least see what his life is like there. What an adventure that would be! Most companies have some kind of companion fare and before you make the tough call, you should see it. There are totally coroners in Reykjavik…

Also, I’ll say this publicly, as one of your boyfriend’s best friends…he’s disappointing me. I might get loads of sh!t for this but it is what it is. He also called me this morning and I haven’t called him back so I’m disappointing myself there.

It is pretty eff’ing cool. Your friendship means a lot to me. I often tell myself and other people that everything happens for a reason…but it’s always hard to take your own advice when you need to haha!
