It happens sometimes, unfortunately. Just like us humans, they can get all the tummy upsets we can get. \ \ Also, I had over a year of vet tech training (and have worked at 2 clinics) and the canned pumpkin really does wonders for constipation (and diarrhea, as the fiber in the pumpkin absorbs extra water). In its pureed form (NOT pumpkin pie filling), it's a fantastic stool softener which makes it a good natural remedy for constipation. One to two teaspoons mixed with her food is all she needs.
