You know who really grinds my gears? Dunkin Donuts.

I’ve been known to enjoy a bagel or two from Dunks in the morning with my delicious non-coffee-tasting coffee. The cinnamon raisin bagels are the bestest in my humble opinion. They wouldn’t be complete without strawberry cream cheese though. Typically, at least in downtown Chicago, they give you the small cup of cream cheese on the side. Apparently here in the “burbs” (not really the burbs, just near O’Hare but apparently if I’m not in “the city,” I’m a burbanite) people like to put the cream cheese on for me.

I don’t like it! 1. I don’t know where your hands have been. It’s bad enough you’re touching my bagel. How do I know you’re not scooping the cream cheese out of a bucket with your fingers? Ew. 2. How big do you think this bagel really is? Do I look like I could drink cream cheese. Spread it on there, but don’t put enough for three other bagels on it! Sweet mother of arteries are you trying to kill me? I scooped off globs and globs of pink gooey stuff this morning.

Please, let me put my own cream cheese on. I don’t want to die of a sweet strawberry death. Stop grinding my gears and give me the cup!!

it is such an either or for me – i’m lazy and WANT them to put the cream cheese on for me but then they put WAY TOO MUCH! in this area (boston) they’ve stopped putting it on, but now I feel like they should start it again. We do pay enough for it!

I think I can understand why they put so much on. They want to make sure it’s enough. I’d rather have too much than too little I suppose. Can’t please everybody though….that’s why I think they should just give me the cup. But I do agree with you, we pay enough to have our bagel cheesed for us haha!

That’s so funny, cause I hate it when Dunkin Donuts DOESNT put the cream cheese on for me! I also hate it when they don’t cut the bagel in half, forcing me to tear it in two with my hands.

I am a HUGE “cream cheese on the side, please” person. If I don’t request it (esp at Cosi) they will just slather it on (and I will scrape off at least 3/4 of it).
