This is the view from the doorway. I live upstairs so my ceilings are slanted. That is my new comforter cover from IKEA. It’s bright and bubbly, just like me The yellow blanket over the windows is there to keep the draft away from me. It was freezing this weekend and I needed to hibernate under cover for a while. You can see my cat’s tower in the right corner. Seven likes to hang out on top. They rarely, if ever, visit the middle cubby hole. In the left corner is my TV and Wii! Much time is spent there.

Hello plants. Only three are mine. About a year ago I had a tendency to kill plants. They seem to be doing very well now that I’m not living in southern Illinois. I’m sure that’s why they were dying Oh, and you can see my boots! I haven’t really had a chance to wear them since graduation. It hasn’t snowed enough to warrant wearing them. I did use them a few times to run down the street to visit my mom though!

Here’s my bed again. I’m only showing this picture because of the penguin on the wall. It’s really an oven mitt from the boyfriend, but I thought it was too cute to shove in a drawer in the kitchen. Below it is my ginormous anatomy book. It obviously wouldn’t fit on a bookshelf. To the left is my frog humidifier…it really shows my maturity eh?

Ah…the newest addition to my room. My bookcase. This also clearly demonstrates my dorkiness. If the monkey lamp didn’t tip you off, please look at the monkey hand towel I have hanging on the wall. And of course there is an order. On the very top shelf are the books I haven’t read yet, followed by the books I’ve read organized by author, then all the medical-related books on the second shelf and my school books on the third. I like that there is still room for more books!!

Finally, my super spiffy foam puzzles of the human body. My mom accidentally found these last week at CVS. Being the anatomy fan I am, I couldn’t pass them up. Naturally I had to buy all three. And they’re so colorful!!! I think the brain is my favorite one.
