I’m a spooner. I like snuggling. Whatever you wanna call it, I like being close to someone and held. Sure after about 25 minutes of that we’re both sprawled out on our own sides of the bed, fighting over blankets, kicking each other’s shins and occasionally dealing with sleep chatter. But the first 15-20 minutes of spooning can be quite soothing.

So what’s a gal to do? Well, if she’s desperate, as we sometimes are, we can go purchase the man pillow (as I like to call it). It’s a pillow…with an arm and hand. This new product on the Japanese market is supposed to mimic your boyfriend’s arm while you sleep. The boyfriend’s arm pillow can be yours for $80. Having sold more than 1,000 pillows since it’s launch last year, the boyfriend pillow might be replacing the real thing. Unfortunately, it is only available in Japan on the Internet.

I’m not quite this desperate. I have a feeling I’d wake up knowing that I went to bed alone, and when I felt or saw that hand, I’d freak out thinking someone was attacking me. Since I don’t have my Tampon O’ Doom, I’d panic and probably fall out of bed.
