If I were Matt Lauer, I would punch Drew Peterson in the eye. Actually, I’d punch him in the eye even if I weren’t Matt Lauer. Peterson had his second appearance on the Today Show this morning and brought along his lawyer.

Why would an innocent man need a lawyer to speak for him? If you didn’t see the video, his lawyer hardly let Peterson answer his own questions. Obviously frustrated, Lauer tried asking questions that didn’t deal with “facts of the case.” When asked if he was worried about Stacey, he had to get permission from his lawyer. He looked real convincing when he said “yes I am.” Sure you are. Peterson just sat there giving off his creep-vibe while his lawyer basically stuck his hand up his ass and showed off some horrible ventriloquist skills.

This case drives me nuts. I feel very bad for Stacey’s family as well as the families of wives number 1, 2 and 3. A small, very small, part of me feels bad for Drew but only because something about his appearance reminds me of my own dad. Okay that made me cringe.

At least one Chicago team is doing well. The Blackhawks are 11-8-1 this season putting them in second place behind the Red Wings. Jaws are dropping every where.

Something that is not surprising is the unpredictable weather that’s about to hit the Midwest, including Chicago. Holiday travelers, beware. Holiday travel will most likely be ridiculously difficult for those flying into Chicago due to a low-pressure storm that may or may not turn rain into snow on Thanksgiving-eve. Why does Mother Nature wait until the busiest travel day of the year to unleash her winter fury? Nobody knows. Doesn’t she know that the boyfriend is flying in? Just be prepared and expect the worse. Also, keep your fingers crossed that the person you sit by on the plane doesn’t smell.

Does anybody else see a resemblance between Dancing With The Star’s professional dancer Jonathon Roberts and the Chicago Bears QB Rex Grossman? Is it just me? It probably is.
