It’s a pretty gray and chilly day here in Chicago. Woke up with a high in the upper 20s, low 30s. My mood is oddly influenced by the weather and when the seasons begin changing, specifically from warm, sunny weather to frigid, dreary weather, I seem to absorb some of that dreariness. Combine that with a few personal issues I’m dealing with, it makes for a not-so-cheery Jenn.

Using my handy dandy iPod, I created a playlist that doesn’t pull me out of my funky mood, but doesn’t pull me deeper into it either. Figured I’d share it. I know I saw some where in a blog someone was looking for playlists and what not.

I am in agreement that when I’m in a little bit of a funk, I don’t really want to come out of it with music, I just want to revel in it for a bit then let it take it’s course. Wine, good homemade food or great sex have traditionally been excellent remedies.

That said, Cary’s video for Ride was directed by Zach Braff as well- Cary, Zach and Joshua Radin were all buddies in college (and still) so they’ve been great about keeping it in the family.

I remember hearing that he directed “Ride” as well. I think it’s great that the stardom hasn’t gone to his head and he’s pretty loyal to his friends still.
