Scrubs Season 7: Episode 3 (Spoilers)

by freeandflawed on November 8, 2007

Another Thursday and another episode of Scrubs.
\

\
Maybe I’m bitter because the show is ending and I’m not ready for that. Or maybe they’re just not on top of their game this season. Whatever it is…I just was not feeling tonight’s episode.
\

\
Elliott spent the episode trying not to be a hypocrite by telling her patient that they’ll gain weight together. The patient was anorexic. Well Dr. Cox, being the guy he is, did everything he could to get Elliott to give up. In the end, she did. Only proving that the doctors at Sacred Heart are hypocrites.
\

\
J.D. spent the episode asking people if he needed to grow up. His brother came to visit and gave him a car.
\

\
The baby and mother are back home. Apparently they’re 40 minutes away from J.D. I’m not really sure what they decided. Last week left us hanging and now we don’t even see the mom.
\

\
Turk and Carla…nothing going on there.
\

\
Oh and the janitor had a “go green” kick after Ted made him watch “An Inconvenient Truth.” He gave up after 36 hours.
\

\
Once again I’ll tune in next week in hopes the episode warms my heart and makes me laugh….just like old times :) Til then, I will re-watch old seasons to feel the warm fuzzies!

I do the show no justice. It really is great. I think I’m just letting my disappointment out since it’s the last season and no matter what they do, it won’t be good enough haha.
\

\
Okay, now I feel like a loser because it’s only a TV show.

I know what you mean…it just feels like something is missing doesn’t it? It feels like it’s coming to an end so the towel is being thrown in or something…
\

\
I really can’t put a finger on it, but it seems like something’s missing. Something is happening with Elliott’s character too. She seems so smart and serious now…I loved goofy, fun, frick-on-a-stick-with-a-brick Elliott.

\
I wonder if they’re changing her personality to make her “grow up” and they are doing the same with J.D. so that when they get together in the end (as they should), fans will agree that this time, they are finally “ready”? Or maybe it’s nothing with the show and it’s just this lump in the pit of my stomach knowing that I’m seeing the last of the shiny, brand new Scrubs episodes forever. *sigh*

Oh…and Kim – what’s up with that story line? She’s not around hardly at all now and you never see the baby considering they just had a baby together….it’s bizarre.
\

\
I am still hoping that it’s going to come out that it’s not J.D’s baby at all considering she lied to him and remember she was pregnant when they didn’t technically even do the deed? Or maybe I just know that because I’ve become a ‘Scrubs nerd’. I don’t like her character so I hope she’s gone and out of the picture soon.

Hey guys, the baby IS J.D.’s, Elliot breaks it off with Keith, and… that’s about it. Oh, and Dr. Kelso has to retire because he’s 65!!!
\

\
Oh, AND, the season finale is indefinite cause of the writers strike. DAMN U PRODUCERS! AND: The Office and Scrubs are being relpaced *gasp!* by “The Celebrity Apprentice” Damn you three times producers, damn you, damn you, damn you!
