Thought that $12.95 slice of chocolate cake was too much for a dessert? Think again.

Serendipity 3 in New York is offering a $25,000 dessert.

The Frrrozen Haute Chocolate has been declared the world’s most expensive dessert in the world on Wednesday by Guinness World Records.
\
\
The dessert is a frozen slushy mix of cocoas from 14 countries, milk and 5 grams of 24-carat gold topped with whipped cream and shavings from a La Madeline au Truffle.

Edible gold!

It’s served in a goblet with a band of gold decorated with 1 carat diamonds and served with a golden spoon diners can take home.

\
If I’m going to pay $25,000 for dessert I’m taking home more than the spoon!
\
\
I just have to know how many people buy this. This dessert could be somebody’s tuition, rent for years even!
