I don’t know if many people in Chicago read this…but if you are, pay attention.
If you pay attention to the news you probably already know about Reba, the missing dog
She’s often seen with her own, Tom, around the corner of Madison and LaSalle (downtown) in the morning. Tom isn’t poor, but tries to get some extra money because his SS check is only about $50 more than his rent. He rides a bike and Reba sits in a basket in the back. She was stolen from him recently while he was finding some food. Tom, a sweet guy, is devastated. Not only because he’s lost a friend, but Reba has a bad hip and requires a pill everyday.

It’s sad yeah, but if the man is struggling so much with money, is he a suitable owner for a pet? Even if it’s his friend… That pill has to cost a decent amount of money, as does the dog’s food.
