I’m not a super huge fan of Rihanna, but I will admit that her song “Umbrella” is quite catchy. I especially love how she pronounces it “um-ber-ella.” I often find myself repeating the “ella, ella, ella, eh eh, under my umbrella” part even without the song playing. While I enjoy this song, I found a cover by John West on Myspace.

Now I’m having a pretty hard time deciding which one is better. West’s version is much more mellow than Rihanna’s and gives it a nice smooth sound. His voice is different than a lot of the male artist’s out there right now as well.
