I’ve noticed that most of my aunts pronounce dog as “dwog.” It’s strange because I hear more of a New Yawk accent than a Chicago one at times. That’s strange because we’re from Chicago and as far as I know nobody in my family has lived in New York. Anyway, that’s just a little tid bit of random info for you all..moving along…
Today I stumbled upon a list of Chicago’s Hottest Dogs, kudos to The Chicagoist for providing it.
I was thrilled to see two of my favorite hot dog joints on this list. Superdawg stole the Classic with Car Service spot while Portillos snabbed the Location, Location, Location category.
Also included in the piece is a guide to the perfect Chicago hot dog. I’m sure I’ve mentioned this once or twice, but I love hot dogs. So yes, this subject greatly interests me 
I am nervous, however, that a move to Atlanta may leave me in a state of withdrawal from great hot dogs. Anybody in Atlanta, Georgia have a place to recommend?!
