So I’m mad. This is the second Littermaid litter box I’ve owned since I’ve had my cats. The first one, the basic one, was wonderful. It lasted a good two years. The only reason it broke was because during a move, a cord that moved the rake back and forth got wrapped around the rake and while trying to untangle it, my mom broke it. So I was forced to buy a new one. I couldn’t find the basic in the store anymore…I had to purchase the Elite. IT was smaller and louder than the basic. I wasn’t satisfied but it’s better than cleaning up the poop myself.

So tonight I notice that the littermaid Elite is pretty full. I was wondering why it was still dirty. I turned it off and back on and nothing. The rake didn’t sweep through the box. The sensors didn’t even turn on the light when I put the scooper in there and waved it around. I tried unplugging it and replugging it. Nothing. I called customer service and they are closed. I went to their website and sent in a complaint. Then I decided out of curiosity to check other websites for the same litter box to find out prices in case I do in fact need a new one.

Then I stumbled upon this and I must say I am not happy with what I’m reading. This new model is shit. I’m probably never going to hear back from this company and I’ll be suckered into buying another eff’in loud litter box, which probably caused my cats to go deaf, and it’ll stop working in 5 months.
