Ignorant people.
I was at Target today shopping for some hair clips. There was another younger woman in the aisle with me who was also looking at all the clips. I was to the right of her, standing back a bit because I don’t need to be on top of things to see them.
Instead of looking next to her to check if somebody was there, she just crosses over and stands in my way as if I wasn’t looking at the same 10-foot strip of shelves. I move around her and stand to her left…and she crosses back over and stands directly in front of me again. I look at another woman in the aisle puzzled…she looked at me and shared my puzzled look…so I know I wasn’t invisible.
This woman was like guarding the clips. God forbid I should take the one she wanted. It’s not like there were 20 of each item. I finally said excuse me and gave her a quasi-nasty look and she grabbed what seemed like a random choice and walked away.
After all that blocking you’re going to just grab something without care and walk off? The aisle isn’t your bathroom cabinet sweetheart! Bah! People!
She’s lucky that it’s a beautiful day here in Chicago. Its about 55 degrees, the sun is shining, and I swear I smelled a BBQ somewhere. Spring is on it’s way and I could NOT be happier
